Russell Vought has been selected as Trump’s Director of the Office of Management and Budget. Vought is one of the principle architects of Project 2025 and drafted a secret 180-day playbook for the incoming Trump administration.

Brendan Carr, currently the senior Republican commissioner at the Federal Communications Commission, was chosen as the next FCC Chairman by Trump. Carr, who has been an FCC commissioner since he was appointed by Trump in 2017, wrote the Project 2025 chapter on the FCC.

Project 2025 contributor Paul Atkins has been chosen as Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission by Trump. Atkins has been outspoken in his opposition to the financial penalties being levied against companies that violate U.S. regulations.

Project 2025 contributor Pete Hoekstra was chosen as Trump’s nominee for ambassador to Canada. While one might normally expect him to return to his previous post as ambassador to the Netherlands – which he held for two years during Trump’s first term – Hoekstra’s tenure was marked by major controversies, making it unlikely that he would be welcomed back.

Project 2025 contributor Monica Elizabeth Crowley has been chosen as Trump’s Ambassador, Assistant Secretary of State, and Chief of Protocol of the United States of America. Accusations of plagiarism forced Crowley to withdraw from consideration for a role in the National Security Council during Trump’s first term.

Project 2025 contributor Michael Anton has been chosen as Trump’s Director of Policy Planning (DPP) at the State Department. While Project 2025 does not tell us what any individual contributor added to the tome, Anton has written publicly about his policy plans – under his own name and under at least one pseudonym.

Project 2025 contributor Elbridge “Bridge” Colby has been chosen as Trump’s Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (USDP), a position that requires Senate confirmation. Colby will be in charge of the U.S. government’s nuclear and weapons of mass destruction policies, where his beliefs present an existential threat to humanity.

Project 2025 contributor Troy Edga has been chosen as Trump’s Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security, a Senate-confirmed position. Edgar served as the Chief Financial Officer and Associate Deputy Under Secretary of Management for Homeland Security during Trump’s first term, where Trump said he managed border wall construction.

Project 2025 contributor John Ratcliffe has been chosen as Trump’s Director of the CIA, a Senate-confirmed position. Ratcliffe is a partisan loyalist who rose to fame after defending Trump during congressional hearings, including during the 2019 impeachment.

Project 2025 contributor Tom Homan has been chosen as Trump’s “Border Czar.” The position will make him responsible for the southern and northern borders, maritime and aviation security, and deportation efforts.
